Fake currency notes in Surat, Gujarat

206: SHRI DIGVIJAYA SINGH:
Will the Minister of Finance be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is a fact that in November 2019, fake currency notes of denomination of ₹2000, worth rupees one crore were seized in Surat, Gujarat;
(b) if so, the number of persons arrested in this case;
(c) whether anyone was arrested also from the under construction Swaminarayan temple in Kheda district of Gujarat for printing counterfeit currency notes, if so, the name of such person and his profession; and
(d) the value of currency notes recovered from the arrested person from the under construction temple and the action taken against him?
